3 Flint fracture in different sizes
With the flint, which is also called Flint, and the medieval sparkling bat, a crackling fire can be lit in a few simple steps, as it was in the Middle Ages.
To create a spark, you need a sharp edge. The flint is therefore best chipped off with a large pebble on one side, because the resulting sharp flint edges produce the best sparks - but a little patience and practice are required.
Here you can get the fire bat you need to make a fire, based on a model from the Viking era.
Details:
approx. 3 x 2 x 1 cm, but can vary from stone to stone.
